REGISTER – LANDLORD COMPLIANCE WORKSHOP – Saturday July 21, 2018 10am – 1pm
IS YOUR PROPERTIES IN COMPLIANCE THE ARIZONA RESIDENTIAL LANDLORD AND TENANT’S ACT? Arizona Tenants Union is offering a workshop showing landlords how we help tenants legally terminate leases. As many landlords know, Arizona Tenants Union helps tenants legally terminate leases. We are able to do this because although ARLTA(Arizona Residential Landlord And Tenants Act) does not provide many remedies for landlord noncompliance’s with the law, one remedy that flows throughout all the provisions of ARLTA is the right of tenants to terminate their leases for almost all landlord noncompliance’s.
It is our mission to help tenants who are having problems with their landlords. Consistent with our mission is to assist landlords with coming into compliance with the law. Because the main remedy for almost all landlord noncompliance’s is the right of a tenant to terminate his/her lease, this workshop will be geared towards showing landlords the different grounds tenants use to do this. The discussion of these grounds will expand into a discussion of tenants’ rights generally. The overall goal is provide landlord’s, management companies, and/or owners a foundation by which they can improve a tenant’s experience while leasing.
Workshop 10am – 1pm Saturday July 21st, $350 tax deductible donation to the Arizona Tenants Union, Inc. to attend. Topics of the workshop will include:
- Proper registration with the County Assessor
